Can you return an item that you purchased through financing? My husband purchased a UTV on Saturday and by Monday knew it was a mistake. Monday was a holiday. He called on Tuesday and was told that he could bring it back and they would try to sell it but that was all they could do. Is there any other way out of this mess?

Pam As a general rule, a contract can be cancelled within 72 hours of signing. To cancel (“rescind”) a contract, it must be in writing. Your husband should have been given a grace period till Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. If he returns the TV, he would have to notify the finance company immediately.
