AS you know, over the weekend many roads had ice on them. I work at a movie theater, and the home office said we had to be open no matter what. If someone was trying to get to work, and they were in a car accident could they file a claim against the company? It is more of just a law question, we had a few employees do some minor damage to their cars, but they are not reporting it to the insurance companies. I am just wondering for future reference. Thanks, and I always enjoy hearing you talk on the regular guys every Monday

Sounds like the Movie Theatre has a pretty tough work policy...Regarding accidents on the way to work, I beleive it would be very difficult to file a successful claim against your employer for property damage to an employees car. The answer may be different if there was personal injuries associated with the accidents on the way to work. An employer has a duty not to place employees in the way of danger when they know it is likely to be an increased risk of harm...So, if you have a car accident with injuries, let me know, so I can help you with the claim.
