traveling to Canada asked 3 Oct 2011
Do you know the specifics about trying to get into Canada with a 5 yr old DUI conviction? The website says it will be very hard to gain access with a DUI on your record. Is there any way around this? You must hire a Canadian Lawyer and attempt to get a waiver. I hear it takes several months to accomplish this. I would recommend calling a Maine Lawyer that is experienced with this issue and has a Canadian lawyer that he works with on a regular basis. His name is Wayne Foote. Tel: 207 990- 5855.
